this is my second unit, adding another zone for timed scheduled watering, not as intensive as the deck planters full of herbs and vegetables which are the first zone. overall I’m a huge fan! but the 2nd unit doesn’t connect to the app unless I am pretty close by. it runs on schedule regardless, but I can’t change the schedule unless I’m at home. I did buy a short hose extender to move the unit more in ‘eyeline’ with the wall plug, but it hasn’t done the job.. maybe I need to bring more up to the same level instead of slightly below. I would recommend these anyway!

I have two of these and so far they have worked flawlessly. They sync up easily and work as they should. Battery life seems great and everything needed for installation is included. Plus, the app has worked great so far.

I am very happy with this device. The set up was straight forward. I downloaded the Rainpoint app from the app store to my phone. I put my phone, the faucet timer, and the Wifi hub/gateway close together and not far from the Wifi router. I followed the instruction inside the package. The APP had no problem finding the Wifi hub and the timer. Once both devices were added, it's fairly simple to add the timer to the hub. I did a complete dry run of the system before I attached the timer to an actual water faucet. The system worked as expected. No problem. One thing that impressed me is how well the APP was designed. The functionalities, such as regular schedule, rain delay, etc. are well thought out. The user interface for accessing these functions are also quite intuitive. It's one of the best user interface I have experienced for this type devices.

I own very old and expensive bonsai trees. They can be a maintenance nightmare - especially when you go out of town for a few days or a week +. I purchased the wifi Water Time with Pump for the winter months when the trees are indoors for the cold temp (Northern US) - this is an amazing unit that works just like is should - be sure to have a large enough water resevior so you dont run out. The other rainpoint product I own is the Wifi Water timer for outdoors. I have 2 of these for the Spring/ Summer Months - they water and mist my bonsai trees perfectly - I use the android app and create water schedules so my trees stay happy - even in hot months. Now - I have the Sprinkler timer - this works just like all the rainpoint products I have - set up was a snap and it keeps my plants watered and as green as ever. Their customer service is amazing and they are ultra responsive. One issue that I did have was connecting the wifi unti to my wifi mesh system. Rainpoint only uses 2.4GHZ signals. My mesh system does both 2.4 and 5 GHZ - the problem is they (my wifi) dont sepatare the 2 signals - this can be an issue - but customer service will walk you through it! Rain Point did give me this unit to review - but that didnt sway me - this is a high quality sprinkle - and would be a great system for your outdoor garden or flowers!
