I already had the single zone model and it was easy to use. Even with 3zones this timer is easy to set up. You can turn off the individual zones as needed, you can also set a rain delay as well. If you need to override and run a manual watering it's easy to start and has a timer.

The digital display is bright even in full sun, and the readings match my home’s meter almost exactly. Switching between gallons, liters, and total volume makes it easy to track usage for different beds.
